MANITOS COMMUNITY MEMORY PROJECT
The Manitos Community Memory Project is a grant-funded project establishing an archive that preserves cultural heritage for fellow Manitos in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.
Through my time on this project, I’ve contributed to designing branding assets, web branding, social media management, website management, publication design, illustration, and project and time management.
Cuadernos Vol. 2
A four-booklet series that celebrates the seasons by food sovereignty, traditions, and holidays in the Manitos community. Including a bookmark with front and back descriptions of the Vol. 2 series in English and Spanish.
Cuadernos Vol. 1
Cuadernos is a booklet series that reflects on the 1918 Spanish Flu and COVID-19 pandemics through Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. The project began in the summer of 2020 with me working on publication designs and Natasha Vasquez making illustrations throughout the series.
When the project started, the designs were originally created to be digital to be accessible during the COVID-19 lockdown but were later funded to become a printed series. The series has a collection of stories in three booklets and one blank journal free for writing and illustrating. It also includes a bookmark decorated with floral illustrations on one side and a short prompt on the reversed side with three stickers enclosed with a wraparound.

Identity and Web Guides
The identity guide was created to set the design standards for Manitos to keep consistency throughout projects and other uses in part of the organization.
Form Designs
The forms created were made for print and digital purposes for people who wanted to be a part of the Manitos Historian Initiative or to collect information about the various types of media that is going into the Manitos archive.
